I love what I do- plain & simple. I have met the most interesting & talented people through klt:works. Case in point, look at these wonderful photos by Bellini Portraits! Kristin Fluhr, the Boston based clothing designer & creator of The Measure, contacted me a little while ago about an idea that she had. Well, I love the opportunity to collaborate with like minded artists & designers (particularly ones with great names like Kristin) so I jumped. Kristin's Twelfth Night Collection for The Measure was just photographed by Bellini Portraits and will be available for purchase next Tuesday. I'm so thrilled have my tees be a part of these awesome outfits! They will also be available for purchase as part of the whole ensemble. This little model is just adorable too- can you imagine she & Sayer playing in their Squirrel & Kitty tees together? This is just a taste of the Twelfth Night Collection. Visit the Measure & Bellini Portraits FB pages to see more updates & sneak peeks. Thanks Kristin & Stephanie - these photos just made my week! Can't wait to see more of the collection!

The fact that I'm posting about sweaters & slugs a day after posting about the sun & sprinklers is really just an example of a week in the Northwest. It's been raining for the last two days - after a gorgeous weekend. The slugs are feasting on everything that we planted in our garden & the snails have been greeting us daily underfoot. However, because we have been inside a lot this summer, we've been on a cleaning, purging, & reorganizing kick- which brings me to my sweater drawer. I find that I hold on to a lot of sweaters more because I like the color, texture, or pattern more than that they really fit me well. So, to soften the blow of having to get rid of them- in between working on orders, I decided to make some cozy slugs that won't munch on our tomatoes & basil...
It really is a fun way to pass on some of my favorite sweaters. The bodies are even softer than when I use polar tec fleece. Besides, I have a blast coming up with combinations & personalities. I hope you enjoy my sweaters as much as I did...

It finally feels like summer. The sprinkler was on, backyard giggles were heard & afternoon picnics of popsicles in Sayer's clubhouse were enjoyed. Sunday was nice. The new Zee Avi song, Swell Window, seems to fit my mood (& these pictures) - look forward to hearing her new album in August. Happy Music Monday! How was your weekend?
